Instagram Reel + Stories bundle rate

Brands love asking for “a Reel plus Stories” as one soft number. Split the SKUs on paper first, then offer a small bundle discount for booking both before shoot day — never erase your floors for “campaign vibes.”

Figures and workflows here are illustrations, not financial, tax, or accounting advice. Talk to a tax or finance specialist in your jurisdiction before you invoice, set payment terms, or treat a number as a rate you should charge.

Examples use a $650 organic Reel floor and a $245 public 3-frame Story sequence (same creator card).

Bundle vs à la carte

Start from the sum of standalone lines. The bundle only exists if both deliverables are in the brief before you shoot. If they add Stories after the Reel is live, that is a new quote — not a retroactive discount.

SKUÀ la carteIn bundle (≈12% off sum)Notes
Organic Reel (1 revision)$650$57230-day median views on card
Public 3-frame Stories$245$216Frame count fixed in SOW
Sum$895$788Bundle total on invoice
Optional: Story link sticker 24–48h+$90–$140Not in base bundlePrice from sticker guide
Optional: paid usage 30d on Reel+25–40% of ReelNot in base bundleDays + channels named

12% is a worked default. Nano cards often stay at 8–10%; large campaigns with clear volume may go to 15% — document the % on the card.

Worked quote: beauty brand launch day

Inputs: creator with $650 Reel floor, $245 Story sequence, brand wants both live same evening, organic only, one Reel revision, sticker optional.

LineAmount
Reel (bundle rate)$572
3-frame Stories (bundle rate)$216
Bundle total (organic)$788
Story link sticker 48h (optional)+$120
Paid usage 30d on Reel only (optional)+$195 (30% of $650 floor)
Refuse: unlimited Story frames / unlimited revisions—

Invoice shows bundle total plus optional lines. Never hide usage inside the bundle number.

  • Refuse line: “Campaign package” with no format list — require Reel + frame count + organic vs paid.
  • Same-day posting is included; next-day Stories without a rush clause are still OK if named in the brief.
  • If they cancel Stories after you filmed both, charge Stories kill % or the full Story line — you already produced it.

What this bundle is not

  • Not collab-post pricing (co-author invites are a different SKU).
  • Not Close Friends Stories (private list inventory).
  • Not IG+TikTok cross-post (two platforms).
  • Not a free Stories push because the Reel performed well — paid amplification is a separate line.

Card layout

Show Reel, Stories, Bundle (Reel+Stories) as three rows. Brands picking only Reel should still see the honest Story price.

Rights hygiene

Organic bundle ≠ ads. Whitelist, Brand-account ads, Creator Boost, and paid usage stay separate with day counts — same lesson as whitelist and usage guides.

Sibling pages

Set the Reel floor and Story frame ladder on their own guides, then return here for the package math.

DM reply when they ask for “one price for both”

“Happy to package Reel + 3 Story frames same day. À la carte is $650 + $245 = $895; package is $788 organic only (one Reel revision). Link sticker and 30-day paid usage are add-ons. If you only need the Reel, I quote $650 — Stories aren’t free leftovers.”

Put that language on the card once and paste it forever. Soft “campaign” language without line items is how creators lose $100–$200 per deal on Story work that still takes an evening.

Reel + Stories bundle questions

+How much discount should a Reel + Stories bundle get?

A common band is 8–15% off the sum of the two à la carte lines — not 30–40%. You still shoot two formats and burn Story frames. Deep discounts teach brands to always ask for “packages” that erase your floors.

+Does the bundle include paid usage or Spark-style ads?

No by default. Organic Reel + organic Stories only. Paid usage, Partnership Ads / whitelist, and link stickers are add-ons with days. Write that in the SOW so “campaign rights” cannot swallow both surfaces.

+How many Story frames come with a standard Reel + Stories package?

State a frame count (e.g. 3–4 frames). More frames = another Story sequence SKU or a small add-on, not free until the brand is happy. One revision round on the Reel; Story frame swaps once.

+Same-day Reel and Stories vs Stories the next day — different price?

Same calendar day is the default bundle. Next-day Stories still count as the package if contracted, but rush (+24h after Reel live) can add a rush % from your rush-fee card. Do not gift timing flexibility.

+Is a Reel + Stories bundle the same as an IG+TikTok cross-post package?

No. This page is one platform, two formats. Cross-post packages price two platforms and often two rights stacks. Do not paste one discount rule onto the other.

+What if they only want Stories after seeing the Reel draft?

That is not a bundle — it is a sequential upsell. Quote Stories à la carte (or refuse until the Reel invoice is paid). Bundles require both deliverables named before shoot day.

Put Reel and Stories on separate package lines

BlueRateCard packages can show Reel, Stories, and the bundle total so brands stop treating two formats as one mushy fee. Free for creators.
